I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on what the results mean for at-large bids for the Southwest region.
On the girl's side, Broomfield should be in a good position having beaten Mountain Vista at the State meet (satisfying one of committee's major criterion), but I'm not so sure about American Fork's girls.
On the boys side, things get messier. Springville comes in as a surprise ahead of over #10 Olympus, #13 Palmer Ridge, #14 Timpanogos, and #26 Lone Peak. They also have out-of-region wins at Bob Firman over #17 Crater, #20 Bellarmine Prep, and #22 Skyline, ID. They even beat Davis in the Utah State Championship meet merge. Enough for an invite? Then what about Timpanogos? They've been stellar all season long with an impressive performance at Nike Portland (over NXRNW runner-up Summit). In the NXRSW race the finished incredibly close to Springville (with a better overall time), and still ahead of Olympus, Palmer Ridge, Lone Peak, and 2015 NXRSW champs Mountain Vista. Add all that to the fact that they have been to NXN the last two years (including a 5th place showing last year) and is a strong enough case to make them this year's AF and secured a second at-large bid for the region?
It makes a lot of sense to me for the Broomfield ladies to get the invite and for both Springville and Timp to get invites, but I'd like hear your take.

With the next set of rankings due out soon (and with NXN around the corner), how do you see the NXRSW results shaking up the rankings? With so many ranked teams in a single race, I imagine the impact will be significant. Does Davis reclaim their spot back in the top-10, especially in light of the Woodlands now having a blemish on their great record for the season? Does Springville crack into the top-10? Timpanogos?
